JILLVILLE

We stayed at Jillville from a Thursday-Monday. We arrived and the house was immaculate. There are so many tiny details that bring this house together. Even the toilet paper and paper towels had little designs (super cute). It rained the first two days we were here, but the rain was on and off so we were able to utilize the beach during the evenings. The beach was perfect for us. The sand was harder (from the rain) so you didn't have sand flying everywhere. The sun was hidden behind clouds so none of the kids got burned. We absolutely had the most perfect beach days!! The kids loved every second of it. We also visited Moody Gardens one day. We brought the kids to the aquarium and then went and ate at Rainforest Café. We also visited La Kings Confectionery where the kids got scoops of delicious, homemade ice cream and were mesmerized by all the different types of candy - a definite must see. Jillville is the perfect distance from everything you need yet far enough that you can relax in peace. We spent several evenings grilling and the downstairs yard is perfect for kids running around or adults playing Cornhole! I would suggest bringing some bug spray as the mosquitoes can get a bit rough which is most certainly due to all the rain Galveston has had. All in all I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful beach home. We will be making it an annual visit for us!

We enjoyed the patios and the quick access walkover during our stay at the beach. The house is spacious and clean, and we were able to spread out as a family of adults. The office staff was extremely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and followed up after our stay to make sure we enjoyed it. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We went here for a family get together for Fathers day, our stay, everything was great, only problem we had at first was the stove, didn't know how to really work it, but the staff was helpful to explain it to us. House was clean and looked new. Would recommend to anyone.
